Languages: English, French and Creole
With more than 20 years of clinical experience (notably with elite athletes in swimming, judo, fencing, wrestling, volleyball, triathlon, diving, MMA, and more), Julie is a therapist with unique and highly sought-after skills in Montreal.
She worked as a massage therapist with Canada’s National Women’s Hockey Team for 6 years. She is now introducing sports acupuncture within the new Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL), where her integrative practice delivers rapid results while also preparing athletes effectively on the mental level.
In recent years, she has refined the integration of sports medicine, neurophysiology, and acupuncture to maximize the effectiveness of her treatments. Her productivity has multiplied, and she has begun sharing her techniques with other passionate acupuncturists through accredited training programs.
Julie is among the few acupuncturists who have studied directly with specialists of the nervous system, allowing her to specialize in the treatment of neurological disorders (concussions, post-stroke paralysis, neuralgias, paresis, paresthesias, chronic pain), while also treating sports injuries and orthopedic conditions.
Fun fact: She also holds a certification in design and arts
