Maria Bazan
Maria initially pursued her studies in physiotherapy and medicine in Peru. She has over ten years of experience in the fields of musculoskeletal and neurology. In 2018, she obtained a Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Montreal, specializing in musculoskeletal conditions, particularly knee osteoarthritis and pain management. In 2021, she completed her equivalency in physiotherapy at the University of Montreal. In 2022, she underwent training in Mulligan techniques and manual therapy for the temporomandibular joint (TMJ). She is a member of the OPPQ (Professional Order of Physiotherapy of Quebec) and the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. She actively expands her knowledge by currently pursuing the D.E.P.A. training program in advanced neuro-musculoskeletal physiotherapy at the University of Montreal.
Maria has a strong interest in music and art. She plays the flute and particularly enjoys practicing abstract painting.
